Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents daily with person-centered care across the continuum of care on our spacious campus in Hingham, MA.

You will perform day-to-day physical therapy treatments, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and comply with Medicare, state, and federal regulations while helping residents maintain independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with older adult population preferred.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Current state license in physical therapy, where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day physical therapy treatments across the Erickson Senior Living continuum of care.
  • Support residents with holistic, person-centered care including physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
  • Follow Medicare, state and federal regulations, policies and documentation and ensure compliance.
  • Implement personal care plans focusing on residents' strengths and routines; foster comfort and belonging.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical team to address residents' needs.

Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistants support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs. Compensation: The pay rate for this position is $35 hourly.

How you will make an impact



  • Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs

  • Providing day-to-day Physical Therapy treatments to meet resident’s needs in all settings across the Erickson Senior Living community continuum of care

  • Following Medicare, state and federal regulations, APTA, and company policies and procedures and ensure departmental understanding and compliance in the areas of care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance, and other requirements as defined in the respective regulations.

  • Implementing residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines, while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging.

  • Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care.


What you will need



  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is preferred.

  • Current CPR Certification.

  • Current state license (for the state in which the community provides service) in physical therapy, where applicable.
