Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents across the continuum of care. You will provide compassionate, person-centered PT services every day on our campus.

The role requires CPR certification and a current state PT license where applicable, with preference for those with geriatric care experience in senior living environments.

Qualifications

  • Requires CPR certification and geriatric care experience.
  • Must hold a valid state license in physical therapy where applicable.
  • Prior experience delivering PT assistant services preferred in senior living settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic, person-centered PT services across care settings.
  • Deliver day-to-day physical therapy treatments aligned with resident plans.
  • Comply with Medicare, state/federal regulations, APTA, and internal policies.
  • Implement residents' personalized care plans respecting preferences and routines.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address resident needs.

Location: Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistants support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs. Compensation: The pay rate for this position is $35 hourly.

How you will make an impact
  • Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
  • Providing day-to-day Physical Therapy treatments to meet resident’s needs in all settings across the Erickson Senior Living community continuum of care
  • Following Medicare, state and federal regulations, APTA, and company policies and procedures and ensure departmental understanding and compliance in the areas of care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance, and other requirements as defined in the respective regulations.
  • Implementing residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines, while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging.
  • Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care.
What you will need
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is preferred.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Current state license (for the state in which the community provides service) in physical therapy, where applicable.
