Job summary

Select Physical Therapy seeks a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to support two outpatient orthopedic clinics in Winter Haven and Lake Wales, FL. The role involves patient care under a licensed PT, with a collaborative clinical team.

Starting compensation is $28+ hourly, with a $12,000 sign-on bonus and $200 monthly student loan repayment; relocation assistance is available. New graduates welcome; join a supportive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to support two outpatient orthopedic clinics located approximately 13 minutes apart in Winter Haven and Lake Wales.The centers treat a diverse outpatient population, including orthopedic conditions as well as neuro, vestibular, sports medicine, amputee, and fall prevention cases. The PTA will collaborate with a clinical team of 4 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants in a supportive and team-focused environment.

New graduates and experienced Physical Therapist Assistants are encouraged to apply.
