Job summary

Select Medical's outpatient Orthopedics center in Sun City, FL is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join a small, experienced team treating an outpatient orthopedic population. You will work under a licensed PT, providing high-quality PT services with available mentorship and growth opportunities.

Starting pay is $26 to $35 per hour based on experience, with a $10,000 bonus and a student debt repayment option of $200 per month.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Schedule: Full Time, Mon - Fri with some evenings until 7pm

Compensation: $26.00/hr - $35.00/hr (Starting hourly rate calculated by experience)

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Join a specialized and experienced team of 3 PTs, 1 OT, and 1 PTA treating an outpatient orthopedic population. Center specialties include vestibular and dry needling. Newly licensed and experienced outpatient PTA's,

Responsibilities
