Job summary

Ashton North LLC in California is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team. You will assist in skilled treatment programs under a licensed Physical Therapist, document patient activities, and communicate with patients and staff to support high-quality care.

Qualifications include graduation from a CAPTE-accredited PTA/PT program, current State license and CPR, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong teamwork and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and stand/walk for the majority of a shift.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
