Qualifications

• Active Arizona PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving strength, mobility, balance and independence.
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the therapy team.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility requirements.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support resident outcomes.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, mobility techniques and safety.
