Job summary

Ivy Hill Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work closely with patients, clients, and staff to deliver high-quality therapy services in a supportive environment.

The role requires supervising therapy students, developing treatment plans with measurable outcomes, and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a valid state license or eligibility to obtain license in state where services are provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Therapists and therapy students in direct patient care per plan of care and regulations.
• Develop effective treatment plans with functional, goal-based outcomes and obtain approvals from referring physician.
• Record clinical documentation according to regulatory guidelines and daily treatment charges.
• Participate in discharge planning, interdisciplinary team meetings, and care conferences.
• Instruct families and nursing staff on restorative/home programs.
