Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PTA program.

• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, ensuring proper technique and safety.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment for safe therapy delivery.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and safety standards in therapy services.
