Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active PTA license or eligibility to obtain in Rhode Island.
• Strong teamwork, communication and clinical support skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, function and daily living skills.
• Document patient progress and treatment responses accurately.
• Support patient education and home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status to the supervising PT and care team.
• Follow all safety, infection control and compliance standards.
