Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their team on a contract assignment. This role delivers skilled physical therapy services in a SNF/LTC setting under the supervision of a Licensed PT, and requires professionalism and reliability.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree, an active PTA license (or in process), current CPR certification, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associate degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as PTA or in process for PTA/PT Assistant licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed PT.
• Implement and modify the PT plan of treatment under supervision.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT .
