Job summary

Human Touch Home Health seeks Active Maryland PTA licensed Physical Therapist Assistants for positions in Montgomery County (Silver Spring, Bethesda, Kensington, Cabin John). PTAs will join a therapy team providing in-home care across Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options, with flexible territories and patient opportunities.

Responsibilities include implementing the PTA plan of care, mobility and gait training, home exercise coaching, and detailed WellSky documentation, all under PT supervision.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Reliable transportation to patient homes.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Immediate or near-immediate availability strongly preferred.
• Home Health experience preferred, but not required.
• WellSky experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatments according to the established PTA plan of care.
• Help patients improve strength, balance, endurance, and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic exercise and functional training.
• Assist with gait, transfer, and stair training.
• Reinforce home exercise and fall-prevention programs.
• Monitor patient response and progress.
• Communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.

We currently have patients waiting for care in Silver Spring, Bethesda, Kensington, Cabin John, and surrounding communities and are hiring for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities.

You don't have to drive all over Montgomery County.
