Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Oklahoma City is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for variable day shifts. The PTA will administer physical therapy treatments under the plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a physician.

They will work with a Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment programs for patients in our long-term acute care setting. Candidates must hold a Bachelors' degree in physical therapy, maintain an active Oklahoma PTA license, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of patient observation levels based on behavior and risk.
• Ability to maintain Observation Logs/Records.
• Conducts environmental safety checks for 1:1 observation.
• Able to communicate changes in patient behavior or safety to the charge nurse.

• Administer physical therapy interventions per plan of care under supervision of a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician.
• Collaborate with a Physical Therapist to develop treatment programs for therapy patients.

Job Requirements
