AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque seeks a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for day shifts. The PTA administers therapy under a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician, collaborating with the supervising clinician to implement treatment programs.

Join our team at a Long-Term Acute Care hospital in Albuquerque. Requirements include an Associate degree, an active NM PTA license, and current CPR/BLS; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant school.
• Maintains a current New Mexico State PTA License
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician.
• PTA participates with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients.
