Job summary

Acadiana Management Group’s AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Covington is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient care across all shifts. The PTA administers physical therapy interventions under a Physical Therapist plan of care, and collaborates with a physician-ordered program.

We value licensed LA PTA, BLS, and basic computer skills; the team emphasizes patient safety and communication with the charge nurse.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Louisiana Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Basic computer skills and health information literacy.
• Ability to observe patient behavior and safety risks.

Responsibilities

• Administer PT interventions per plan of care.
• Assist therapist in developing treatment programs.
• Collaborate with staff to adjust treatment as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and document progress.

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Covingtonis seeking a PRNPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for All Shiftswho is responsible for administering physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician. Physical Therapist Assistant participates with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients.This position is flexible with variable day shifts.
