PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our inpatient team in Allen, Texas. You will work under the Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care and help develop treatment plans, with opportunities to contribute to service development within PAM Health.

The ideal candidate has a PTA license in Texas, current BLS, and may hold specialty certifications (Parkinson's, Stroke, Vestibular).

Formación

• PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Preferred specality certifications for Parkinson's Disease, Stroke and Vestibular.

Responsabilidades

• Direct patient care under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Plan and implement treatment programs for individual patients.
• Contribute to development of PTA services and adapt to facility needs.

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of the Physical Therapist, will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The Physical Therapist Assistant will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Physical Therapist Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.

• Education and Training: PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required. Preferred specality certifications for Parkinson's Disease, Stroke and Vestibular.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
