PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Victoria is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our inpatient team. You will provide direct patient care and contribute to developing individualized treatment plans under the Physical Therapist's supervision.

Ideal candidates have a PTA license in the state, current BLS certification, and a willingness to learn. Experience preferred, with opportunities for ongoing education and advancement within PAM Health.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required. Preferred specality certifications for Parkinson's Disease, Stroke and Vestibular.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles.
• Involvement in the further development of PAM Health System services and programs.
• Flexible to meet the needs of the system across multiple facilities.

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of the Physical Therapist, will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The Physical Therapist Assistant will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Physical Therapist Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
