Job summary

Delta View Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate PTA to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a PRN basis in Antioch, CA. The role offers flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay of $48–$50+ based on experience, with a collaborative environment alongside PT, OT, and SLP professionals.

The PTA will provide skilled treatments under a licensed PT, help patients meet rehab goals, document progress, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current California PTA license in good standing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients in achieving their individualized rehabilitation goals.
• Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
• Promote patient safety during therapeutic activities, transfers, and mobility training.
• Collaborate with PTs, nursing staff, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies.
• Accurately document treatments, progress, and patient responses in accordance with applicable regulations and facility standards.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
