Role Overview

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides skilled physical therapy treatments and related duties under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

1. Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
2. Licensed in the state of practice.
3. Active membership in state and national Physical Therapy Associations is preferred.

Position Highlights

1. Deliver physical therapy services as directed by the physical therapist and physician, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations.
2. Assist the physical therapist in evaluating patient progress towards goals.
3. Observe, record, and report patient conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties.
4. Maintain accurate daily records of treatments and document progress notes as directed by the therapist.
