Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN at Lifepoint Health

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN to join our team at Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center in Meyersdale, PA. This is a per diem position within the Med Surg setting, focused on providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients recovering from injuries or illnesses.

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide quality, compassionate care in a team environment
  • Implement patient's Care Plan under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Assist patients in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance
  • Communicate patient progress or issues to the team and document care in accordance with regulations
  • Instruct family or nursing staff in follow-up programs
  • Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness
  • Adhere to organizational standards, professional standards, and legal requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate Degree
  • Current state licensure as a PTA
  • CPR certification (if required)
