What you will do in this role:

1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting.
2. Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation. Help patients with physical and/or mental impairments participate in tasks to restore and enhance their performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and documentation of charges.
4. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
5. Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff in follow-up programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
7. Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, compliance standards, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program resulting in an Associate Degree.
• Current licensure as a PTA in the state(s) where services are provided.
• CPR certification (if required).
