Job summary

Anova Care in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support treatment plans under a Physical Therapist's supervision. In the home health setting, you will help improve mobility, strength, function, and independence while coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will implement individualized interventions, monitor progress, document updates, and adhere to home health regulations and documentation

Qualifications

• Associate degree or PTA program completed.
• Active PTA licensure/certification in the state.
• 1–3 years clinical home health/outpatient experience preferred.
• Able to follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Knowledge of home health regulations and documentation standards.
• Proficient with EMR and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist PTs in implementing individualized treatment plans.

Summary: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled support for physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions, exercises, and patient education in the home setting
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT
• Ensure compliance with home health regulations, physician orders, and documentation standards
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and operations teams to support patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as directed
• Perform other clinical or administrative duties as assigned

Position Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of accredited PTA program required
• Current state licensure/certification as a PTA
• 1–3 years clinical experience in home health, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings preferred
• Ability to follow PT treatment plans, perform interventions, and document patient progress
• Knowledge of home health regulations and documentation standards
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability during business hours with occasional after-hours/weekend coverage
