Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for day shifts to support our long-term acute care team.

You will administer PT interventions under the plan of care, collaborate with a Physical Therapist, and help patients regain optimal function in a supportive, employee-owned environment through the ESOP program.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant school.
• Maintains a current New Mexico State PTA License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician.
• Participate with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients.
