Job summary

Houston Medical Center – AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to join our clinical team. The PTA administers therapy interventions under a plan of care developed by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a physician, supporting patients toward optimal recovery.

Candidates must hold a current Texas PTA license, maintain BLS certification, and be proficient in English with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Maintains a current Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatment interventions under the plan of care developed by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a physician.
• Participates with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients.
