Job summary

Human Touch Home Health is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing home health team serving patients across Maryland. As a PRN PTA, you will work under a supervising Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength and independence in their homes, with flexible scheduling and one-on-one care.

This role offers meaningful impact, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for professional growth while serving communities for over 27 years.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland PTA License required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Home Health experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, balance improvement, and fall prevention.
• Assist patients in improving strength, endurance, coordination, and functional mobility.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation using WellSky.
