Preferred Therapy Solutions in Melville, NY is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department. You will provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services within a busy facility, collaborating with the rehab team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Candidates must hold a NY PTA license or be license eligible; strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with electronic documentation are required.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work collaboratively with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment.
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.

A Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant , (PTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Melville, NY. Once hired as a PTS employee, you may join as many of our PRN rosters our other locations in the area if you would like. Huntington Hills Center for Health - Rehab is a 5 Star SNF located in Melville, NY. We are very easily accessible as we are located on the service road of the LIE. Overall, we are a very busy short term rehab and long term care units and you will be treating a blend of both patient populations. We have an extremely spacious rehab gym and a rehab team that excels clinically. We pride ourselves in having excellent patient outcomes. We are looking for a team player who works well within the rehab department as well as with the interdisciplinary team.
