Preftherapy in Melville, NY is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab team. You will provide compassionate therapy services to a mix of short-term and long-term residents and collaborate with an interdisciplinary group.

We value teamwork, ongoing education, and patient outcomes. Current NY PTA license or eligibility is required; hourly rate ranges from $35 to $40, with a generous PTO and benefits package available for full- and part-time

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive therapy in sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible in NY.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and electronic documentation.
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Work well with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PTA services in a sub-acute rehab setting to promote independence.

A Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant, (PTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Melville, NY. Once hired as a PTS employee, you may join as many of our PRN rosters our other locations in the area if you would like. Huntington Hills Center for Health - Rehab is a 5 Star SNF located in Melville, NY. We are very easily accessible as we are located on the service road of the LIE. Overall, we are a very busy short term rehab and long term care units and you will be treating a blend of both patient populations. We have an extremely spacious rehab gym and a rehab team that excels clinical. We pride ourselves in having excellent patient outcomes. We are looking for a team player who works well within the rehab department as well as with the interdisciplinary team. Requirements

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting

Good Faith Hourly Rate Range: $35.00 - $40.00
