Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Texas. You will provide one-on-one PT services in homes, daycares, and schools, under supervision of a licensed PT.

The role offers flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN) and a range of compensation options (hourly, salary, or per-visit) to support work-life balance. Ideal candidates have PTA program completion and Texas PTA license or eligibility, pediatric experience preferred,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date.
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with physician-approved plans of care.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, range of motion, endurance, gait, and functional independence.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, positioning, mobility techniques, and home programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Pay: $35.00–$40.00 per hour
