Job summary

Centra Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time role in Pleasanton, CA. The PTA will provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a PT, following physician orders and implementing treatment plans.

Days schedule, direct hire/permanent position, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals. Must hold California PTA license and CPR certification; licensure in process acceptable.

Qualifications

Job Description:

A great Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long Term Care (LTC) is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA to join their growing team!

• This is a direct hire / 'perm' position.
• Days schedule.
• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
