Centra Healthcare's client in Ironwood, MI seeks an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment. The role requires an active PTA license and provides skilled therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT in a SNF/LTC setting.

You will deliver prescribed interventions, monitor progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals. Days schedule, a contract position, and the opportunity to work with Centra's nationwide

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or in process for licensure.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services under supervision of a Licensed PT.
• Implement and modify treatment plans under supervision of a Licensed PT.
• Collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Job Description

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA to join their growing team for a contract assignment!

• This is a contract position.


• Days schedule.


• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.


• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA.


• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.


• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT .


• Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
