Job summary

HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist II to join the rehab team. You will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute treatment plans as outlined by the care plan.

You will delegate therapy services, educate patients and families, students, and colleagues, and engage with interdisciplinary teams to advance therapy programs. The role requires a graduate-level PT degree, state licensure, and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current licensure or eligibility to practice in state.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist.

Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services. Serves as an educator for patients, families, students, co-workers and self-professional advancement. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of patient, development of therapy program services, and engagement and development of interdisciplinary teams.

Education Qualifications

• Graduate (e.g., bachelors, master, or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice (Required).

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
• Board Certification (e.g., CHT, OCS, etc.) which meets rigorous standards of maintenance or certification (Preferred).

Pay Range:

$39.60 - $59.40

A successful candidate\'s actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
