Elara Caring is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for home health in the Boston area, based out of Waltham, MA. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements, and involves one-on-one patient visits in patients’ homes.

Responsibilities include delivering PT services per an established plan, improving mobility and independence, and teaching exercises.

Formación

• Current Massachusetts PTA license required.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Six months or more PTA experience preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and assist with patient transfers up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Help patients improve strength, balance, mobility and independence.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Teach patients and caregivers exercises for continued progress at home.
• Instruct on safe use of canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics.
