Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Fargo is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support a high‑quality PT program in a fast‑paced hospital setting in Fargo, ND. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver treatment and document progress for patients recovering from illness or injury.

The role requires an active PTA license in the state and Vibra-approved BLS certification, with preferred hospital experience and strong organizational skills. This position is full‑time and on site.

Qualifications

• Current, valid license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• One year of experience preferred. Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing PT services, including treatment planning and documentation.
• Functions under a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Fargo, located in Fargo, ND, is a 31 bed Critical Care Hospital, providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Physical Therapist in the provision of Physical Therapy services to patients, including treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Previous Hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
