Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Fargo, a Vibra Healthcare facility, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Fargo, ND. This full-time role is 36 hours per week and supports a fast-paced hospital environment focused on compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include assisting the Physical Therapist, planning and implementing therapy programs, and documenting patient progress under physician orders. Prior hospital experience and a valid PTA license with BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• One (1) year of experience preferred. Previous Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing PT services, including treatment and program planning.
• Document care and communicate patient progress to the team.
• Follow physician orders and ensure safety and compliance in the clinical setting.

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Fargo, located in Fargo, ND, is a 31 bed Critical Care Hospital, providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Physical Therapist in the provision of Physical Therapy services to patients, including treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Previous Hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
