Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team in Illinois. Under the supervision of a physical therapist, you will be part of a growing team and assist in carrying out individualized plans of care developed by Physical Therapists.

You will help treat patients, implement therapy programs, document patient progress, and communicate with the supervising therapist and facility staff to ensure quality care and positive functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
