Job summary

Oaklin Lane in Rockwall, TX is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our neighborhood pediatric clinic. You’ll deliver one-on-one treatment sessions under a licensed PT and support kids’ strength, balance, and mobility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program and active PTA license.
• Experience with pediatric population or strong desire to specialize.
• Basic understanding of common childhood physical conditions and treatment strategies.
• Willingness to collaborate under mentorship with a licensed PT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Help kids with positioning, transfers, and mobility using gait belts and aids.
• Support the PT in implementing individualized treatment plans targeting strength and balance.
• Document progress and observations in the EMR with accuracy and care.

What you’ll do

• Document progress, activities, and observations in our EMR with accuracy and care
• Keep therapy spaces and equipment clean and safe
• Show up for team meetings to collaborate on patient care and goal-setting
• Keep growing your craft through continuing education
• Communicate clearly with kids, families, and your interdisciplinary teammates

What to expect

Schedule: Full-time · Monday - Thursday · 8:00AM to 6:00PM (with a lunch break) · Four-day work week · No nights or weekends
