Job summary

AdviniaCare Summit Commons in Providence, RI is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a part-time (24 hours/week) and per diem basis under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will assist with assessment data collection and direct treatment for a general rehab caseload.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• CEU's per state licensure requirements.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care, including individual, supervised, and group treatment sessions
• Contribute to the team meeting and decision‑making process as defined by the program
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
• Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation
• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
