Job summary

AdviniaCare Providence in Providence, RI is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a full-time basis. You will assist in providing and collecting assessment data, and deliver direct treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant, current state licensure, and CEUs as required. New graduates are welcome, with prior clinical experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident treatments per established plan of care.
• Contribute to team meetings and decision-making.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Monitor efficiencies with supervisor.
• Document activities in the clinical documentation system.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
• Pursue ongoing learning to stay current in the field.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a full time basis. As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care, including individual, supervised, and group treatment sessions
• Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
• Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation
• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field

Requirements:
