Job summary

AdviniaCare Summit Commons in Providence, RI, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a part-time (24 hours/week) and per diem basis. You will assist in providing treatments, collecting assessment data, and delivering care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities include direct resident treatments, participating in program development, and documenting activities per regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• CEUs per state licensure requirements.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required.
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates welcome!

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care, including individual, supervised, and group treatment sessions.
• Contribute to the team meeting and decision‑making process as defined by the program.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
• Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field.
