Job summary

Fundamental in North Charleston, SC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to screen, treat patients, document services and communicate with families and the interdisciplinary team to optimize mobility and activities of daily living.

This full-time role includes benefits starting on the first day of the month following your start date, with a posted hourly wage of $32.00–$33.00. Experience in geriatric rehab is valued, and ongoing education is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must have one year experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred).
• Must have current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in facility-specific state.
• Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional Physical Therapy services.
• Completes documentation accurately and timely.
• Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives; uses facility resources efficiently.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Services and setting-specific practices.
• Complies with facility policies and procedures.

Posted Salary Range

USD $32.00 - $33.00 / Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
