Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

New London Rehab & Care of Waterford, Waterford, CT

$33–$36 per hour

LTC Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation department. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with residents while helping them achieve their mobility and rehabilitation goals in a supportive skilled nursing environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and mobility interventions
• Support individualized treatment plans designed to improve strength, safety, and functional independence
• Monitor resident performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to support quality resident care
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
