Job summary

LTC Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join their rehabilitation team at New London Rehab & Care of Waterford, Connecticut. In this role, you will work with residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license required.
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.
• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide treatment focused on mobility, gait training, transfers, strengthening, balance, endurance, and pain management.
• Collaborate with PTA staff, nursing professionals, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

$45–$50/hour

LTC Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting, helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
