Job summary

Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join The Elms Center in Milford, NH. This full-time role provides hands-on therapy to residents, aiming to improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed PT, perform treatments, document progress, collaborate with the care team, and participate in ongoing education. Salary ranges $33-$36/hour with full benefits including health, 401(k), PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire PTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with strengthening, gait training, balance, transfers, endurance, and functional mobility.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and therapy goals.
• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other care team members.

Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at The Elms Center. Work alongside experienced therapy professionals while providing hands-on care that helps residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall functional independence.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
