Job summary

LTC Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Greenfield, MA. This full-time role emphasizes hands-on patient care, helping residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, document patient progress, and collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other team members to provide resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts PTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfers, and mobility tasks.
• Follow individualized treatment plans and support established rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Reinforce safe movement techniques and therapeutic exercises with residents and caregivers.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the care team.
