Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Massachusetts. You will assist a PT, implement treatment plans, and support mobility, strength, balance, and independence for patients.

This 13-week contract (with option to extend) offers competitive hourly pay plus housing and travel stipends for travelers, a supportive team, and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic care setting.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain) - New grads welcome!
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals
• Focus on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
