What you will do in this role:

1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting within a secure environment
2. Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation, helping patients with physical and/or mental impairments participate in tasks to restore and enhance performance
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges to patient records
4. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards
5. Instruct patients' families or nursing staff on follow-through programs
6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
7. Follow the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance, professional standards, and applicable laws
8. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program with an Associate Degree
2. Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided
3. CPR certification (if required)
