Job summary

Kensington-Gardens-Rehab-and-Nursing-Center-2 in Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) per diem to support rehabilitation of nursing facility residents.

You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist, assist with mobility, gait training, transfers, and strengthening, and help implement individualized therapy plans while documenting outcomes and ensuring safety and cleanliness of the therapy area. Per diem schedule; compassionate, team-oriented candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA certification or license in Florida.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with elderly or rehabilitating residents.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, nursing staff, and other care team members.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Basic understanding of rehabilitation principles and SNF regulatory guidelines (preferred).
• Ability to lift, support, and assist residents safely during mobility and therapeutic activities.
