Job summary

Aspire Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.

You will assess residents, document progress, and collaborate with therapists and nursing staff to deliver compassionate, standards-based care in a supportive, in-house environment.

This role emphasizes integrity, ongoing clinical training, and the use of electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions under supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Relays requests for service to the Registered Physical Therapist.
• Implements and modifies the patient's physical therapy plan with RPT supervision.
• Measures and records residents' motor function, strength and muscle performance.
• Monitors patient responses to treatments and adjusts as needed.
• Observes residents and writes progress reports.

Job description

PTA Duties Include:

• Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist.
• Implements and modifies the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision
• Measuring & recording residents motor function, strength and muscle performance
• Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary.
• Observe residents and write progress reports.
