Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Ohio. The contract offers 13 weeks with extension options or permanent placement, with day shifts and a competitive hourly rate plus housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads are welcome, and there is strong support for onboarding, growth, and professional development as you help patients improve mobility and function.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain) – New grads welcome!
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals
• Focus on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
