Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment in Ohio with day shifts. The contract spans 13 weeks, with an option to extend, or a permanent placement option, and offers a competitive hourly rate plus housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads are welcome. You will assist in PT services, implement treatment plans to improve mobility and strength, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and help patients achieve

Qualifications

• Active PTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results and fitness for duty within past year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction of a PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals.
• Focus on mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
