Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Stow, Ohio is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is ideal for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance and schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities include patient care under supervision of a licensed physical therapist, delivering high-quality PT services, and maintaining strong center and patient relations; occasional floating to nearby Akron clinics within a 20–30 minute drive.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant license (or license in process)
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act
• Deliver high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN

Location: 3903 Darrow Road Stow Ohio 44224

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation:$30.00 - $35.00/hour, pending experience

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

This role includes the possibility of floating to nearby clinics in the Akron region, all within approximately a 20-30 minute drive of Stow.
